The stomach, the J-shaped muscular organ performs a countable number of important functions. It has the vital responsibility of digesting whatever we are eating. What if we couldn’t eat our favorite food? What if our stomach dies? Due to this high activity, our stomach requires some extra care and attention.

Otherwise, the death of our stomach leads to the lifetime intake of a liquid diet. A stomach ache we feel can be due to various reasons. It’s not always due to unhealthy meals. She felt stomach aches for days but we assumed it was a reaction to more junk food we were eating. It got diagnosed when one day, she got numb in the college and the college doctor sent her to the hospital. Though, stomach cancer is less common as compared to other cancer diseases. Still, it leaves severe effects. When normal healthy cells of our stomach become out of control and start growing abnormally, they form a tumor. Slowly, the cells become cancerous and spread in our body through metastasis. It is also named Gastric Cancer. Stomach Cancer doesn’t show early symptoms and due to this, its treatment gets difficult. So, it’s better to get enough knowledge to beat this dreadful disorder.

 

Symptoms to Ponder Over:

Unfortunately, no major symptoms are seen in a patient with stomach cancer at an early stage. The symptoms are quite general and mixing up with other diseases. At an advanced age, the symptoms I have seen in my best friend were,

  • Irritation and nausea
  •  vomiting
  • Persistent heartburn
  • Bloating and gas issues
  • Cramps and stomach pain
  • Jaundice
  • Loss of appetite and feeling full more often
  • Sudden weight loss without an effort

Whether a disease has a cure or not, but it surely has some prevention methods. No doubt it seems a threatening disease but early knowledge can help you in adapting the ways to prevent such diseases. Thus, we’ll discuss some of the effective methods you can use to avoid being prone to such a harmful disease.

  • Maintaining a Healthy Diet

A healthy diet is in general the prime reason for someone’s good health.   • More Vegetables
  • High Protein foods such as eggs, beans, chicken, or fish.

Never ignore yourself. Your health should be your first priority. Keep a check on yourself. Try to stay regular and punctual in your monthly visit to the doctor. No matter how much good care you give to yourself, a doctor is going to help you in the time of trouble. Try not to neglect the visits and tell them the problems you are facing. Regular checkups will aid you in getting yourself protected from various menacing diseases. Furthermore, it will help in diagnosing the disease at an early stage. No one can guide you better than your doctor. So, never miss the date of the appointment! 

 

Determination is the Key! 

Nothing can motivate you, except you, yourself. Exercising daily and following your diet-plan can be challenging. So, your firm determination is the key to your good health. There are hundreds of terrible diseases around, and we need to be conscious of protecting ourselves.
