IRCTC Launch Ramayan Yatra AC Train: Check Fare, Timing, Route and other info

Great news for all the devotees of Lord Shri Ram!

To promote religious tourism in the country, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism
Corporation (IRCTC) has recently announced "Shri Ramayana Yatra" via a deluxe AC
tourists train.

Important Dates: The tour will begin on 7th November 2021 and the total duration will be of
16 Nights/ 17 Days. All passengers will be travelling roughly 7,500 km in the entire tour.
IRCTC has launched this special tourist train for promoting ‘Dekho Apna Desh’, a
Government of India initiative.

Cost of the tour: The cost of the package starts at Rs.82950. The fare will include AC class
railway ticket, AC hotel accommodation, meals, transfer, sightseeing, travel insurance, and
IRCTC Tour Managers services.

Features of the train: The fully air-conditioned train will provide two types of
accommodation to the passengers- 1st AC and 2nd AC. The train has a host of astounding
features like CCTV cameras, security guards for each coach, sensor-based washroom
functions, two fine dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles in coaches and a
foot massager.

Precautions against COVID-19: To ensure the safety of the passengers in the deluxe AC
tourist train, full COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all guests if they are 18 years or
above. Besides this, Indian Railways will provide a safety kit to all passengers which will
contain face masks, hand gloves and sanitizer.

Tour itinerary: Delhi – Ayodhya – Sitamarhi – Janakpur – Varanasi – Prayag – Chitrakoot –
Nasik – Hampi – Rameshwaram – Delhi.

Train itinerary: Delhi Safdarjung – Ayodhya – Sitamarhi – Varanasi – Manikpur Jn – Nasik
Road – Hospate – Rameshwaram – Delhi Safdarjung.

Destinations that will be covered:
Ayodhya: Ram Janam Bhoomi Temple, Hanuman Garhi, Saryu Ghat.

Nandigram: Bharat-Hanuman Temple and Bharat kund

Janakpur: Ram-Janki Mandir.

Sitamarhi: Janaki Mandir at Sitamarhi and Punaura Dham.

Varanasi: Tulsi Manas Temple, Sankat Mochan Temple and Vishwanath Temple, Sita
Samahit Sthal, Sitamarhi: Sita Mata Temple.

Prayag: Bharadwaj Ashram, Ganga-Yamuna Sangam, Hanuman Temple.

Shringaverpur: Shringi Rishi Samadhi & Shanta Devi Temple, Ram Chaura.

Chitrakoot: Gupta Godawari, Ramghat, Bharat Milap Temple, Sati Anusuiya Temple.

Nasik: Trayambkeshwar Temple, Panchvati, Sita gufa, Kalaram Temple.

Hampi: Anjanadri Hill, Rishimukh Island, Sugreeva cave, Chintamani Temple, Malyavantha
Raghunath Temple.

Rameshwaram: Shiva Temple and Dhanushkodi.

IRCTC said in a tweet, "Get ready for divinity and spirituality filled Shri Ramayana Yatra
because IRCTC has brought you a unique travel plan in which you will be able to visit all the
places related to the life of Lord Shri Ram. During the total journey of 17 days, devotees will
be able to visit all the pilgrimage sites.”

How to book tickets for the tour? The booking for the journey can be done through the
IRCTC website.

The package will include:

-Train journey by special tourist train in 1st AC and 2nd AC class.
-8 nights stay in the deluxe category as per itinerary.
-8 nights stay in rail coaches during an overnight train journey.
-On-board train meals (veg only) will be served in rail restaurants.
-Off-board meals (veg only) in good hotels.
-All transfers and sightseeing in AC vehicles.
-Travel insurance for all the passengers.
-IRCTC Tour Managers will travel throughout the tour with the tourists for necessary
assistance.
-Excellent security on the train.
-All applicable taxes.

The package will not include:

-Boating, adventure sports, etc.
-As meals are preset, there will be no choice of menu.
-Any room service by passengers will be chargeable.
-Cost of sightseeing, entrance and local guides, etc. not included in the itinerary.
-All kinds of tips to drivers, waiters, guides, representatives, etc.
-Any personal expenses such as laundry expenses, mineral water, food and drinks not in
the regular menus will be chargeable.
-Anything not included in the inclusions.
