Getting more online reviews is one of the most effective ways to improve your brand awareness and business online visibility. For whatever reason, getting negative reviews or none at all can be bad for your business. That’s why you will need a good review management system in your company.  Positive reviews have things to do with your online positive reputation. With such a good reputation, there will be ways to attract more new customers and keep your loyal customers to use your products and services again in the future.

The customer experience does matter

Keep giving good experiences for your customers. The online feedback will give you some ideas how to tweak your services and products. Consider to work around some common flaws and errors. Do your customers often complain about the high prices they pay? Don’t they want to be in the queue line? Do they prefer brick-and-mortar stores over online stores?

If you cannot find the matters when reading online reviews, you can always reach your customers to ask them directly. Your good sources will be your repeat customers. They will gladly help you if you ask for it. Another approach is to ask for the feedback through your brick-and-mortar store customer. Simple questions like “Is there any other else to help” can be a great start. Assign your employees to ask sort of questions as well.

Ask them to write the reviews

As a business owner, it is your right to let your customers give you valuable feedback. Believe it or not, those who didn’t leave any review after using your service could simply forget it. Some customers even do not realize the importance of reviews for your business. Therefore, customers whom you approach will gladly help you to write a review or two if you ask them nicely.

You can make the request every after their purchase. Keep in mind that it can work for both online and offline practices.

If your customer is happy with your service, you could ask them to write reviews on popular sites like Yelp, Zomato, Facebook, etc. There’s a chance they don’t know where to write. From then, you can direct them to whichever review sites you want.

If they are disappointed, you could find the solutions that will keep them from writing bad reviews about your business.

Use a great review management system

Positive reviews can be great signals for your business. But these signals have specific lifespan. They cannot be relevant for some times in the future. The six months old reviews are indeed different with the fresh positive reviews. To keep your company relevant, you will want to update the reviews from time to time.

Some negative reviews are inevitable. In fact, there is no way to remove these negative reviews in some sites like Yelp, although you suspected that those are fakes. But as long as you can maintain the positive reviews, you will survive no matter what.

Improving the feedback and reviews for your business can be practically easy. However, it will be a nuisance if you and your team do it manually. Consider to use review management tools to help you out to manage the reviews from your customers.
